UAE Information Assurance Standards
Issued by UAE federal cybersecurity authorities
Applies to: UAE government entities and organisations designated as critical information infrastructure, plus suppliers asked to demonstrate equivalent controls.
The UAE Information Assurance (IA) Standards set management and technical security controls for government and critical-sector entities. They take a risk-based approach and prioritise controls by threat level.
Emirate-level and sector requirements, for example Dubai’s information security regulations and health-sector standards, often apply alongside them.
General guidance, not legal advice. Always confirm scope and current requirements with the issuing authority.
